About Us
HOW WE STARTED
Ave's Bread started in June of 2017 with Gabrielle and Avery Jensen baking bread for friends and family. It became so popular they began getting more and more requests, they decided to begin selling bread from their home. Now in 2024, they have sold bread at multiple farmers markets, been featured KATU Kara's Kids, as well as On the Go with Joe, and one of our main focuses is to teach kids how to bake food from scratch and how a business works!
Our inspiration
For generations our family has been growing, canning, harvesting, and our favorite baking! DeAnn Thomas (left) and Betty Jean Harris (right) have been just a few of the women in our lives that have taught us these skills and we are so grateful!
On the news
KATU 2 came and featured us on live tv and we were able to share our experience with starting a small teen-run business.
